Thanks Jobi and Adithya for your inputs. I tried the steps suggested by Jobi and it worked. I was able to create a reservation against a sales contract. But I have one question - why do we have to create a reservation (MB21)? When the availability check happens and stock is available, the stock will be confirmed in the schedule line and if any other sales order or contract is created then that stock will not be available for the ATP check. Then is it really required to create a reservation separately?
