Equipment: change cost center assignment with a "valid from" date in future?

Dear colleagues,

we have the requirement to change the cost center assignment of some equipments by 01.01.2015.

As on this date no one is in office, I'm curious if there is a functionality which allows to me change right

now the cost center assignment with a validity from 01.01.2015 on?

Is it possible somehow to do such changes now, but with effectivity in the future?
