Assign Chart of Depreciation after making some entries in company code

Hi Experts,

We are going live for one of the company codes which is recently rolled out just for journal postings. We want to use or assign chart of Depreciation after one year. Can we do so?

Right now we don't want to implement asset brut after one year can we do so even having some other transaction data.
